Welcome to the Department of Chemical Engineering at Cukurova University. Our department was activated with Ceyhan Engineering Faculty which was founded in 2009.

Ceyhan is in the same region with the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Kirkuk-Yumurtalik oil pipelines, Energy Specialized Industrial Zone and Yumurtalik Freetrade Area. For this reason, our department has a great potential in order to provide qualified employment and consultancy services and to refineries, petrochemical plants, petroleum and natural gas storage facilities, shipyards and ports, power plants and treatment plants, manufacturing industry. Besides department has a great potential to the establishment of industrial R & D projects within the framework of university-industry cooperation.
